Queen 5

By GilaChess - December 24, 2014

With free time on my hands I poked around the packaged DGT sofrware and found this old DGT software, Queen5, is much better than LiveChess for single DGT board broadcasts.

At least on my bluetooth board anyway. For one thing the commonly used, LiveChess, constantly fails to detect the board while all other software like BabasChess, Queen5, Arena etc all detect the board just fine.

Queen5 can update pgn files automatically thus allowing live screen updates on the internet possible.

Also LiveChess runs on Java which is not ideal as it is slow and buggy most of the time. Queen5 runs in native Windows and so far looks to be more stable.
