A repost of this as the organisers inform me that there is "poor response" and still lots of space left to register although I personally think that with such high prize monies for rapid that situation will not remain so for long.
There is no penalty for registering now until further notification.
I suggest those interest register early so as to avoid disappointment later..

The Johor Chess Association (JCA) in conjunction with the Johor Chess Festival will be organizing 4 Separate Open Rapid Chess Tournaments from 20 – 23 December 2015 on the 36thFLOOR, Johor Bahru City Square. DAT CHESS CENTRE WILL BE THE EVENT MANAGER. FIDE Laws of Chess shall be applied. Mobile phones and electronic devices have to be deposited with the organisers. All players shall be smartly attired. Slippers will NOT be allowed.
