Found out that the keyboard character map actually includes chess characters too. Meaning it's not graphics but text. You can cut and paste the chess symbols into any text editor. Example try cutting and pasting the above into Facebook and it works.

I don't know how exactly this can be useful but I think it's interesting and holds potential for easy chess digramming :)
