GilaChess needs a camera
For years, I've had the privilege of being the quiet witness behind the lens — capturing the fierce concentration, the triumphant smiles, and the heartbreaking near-misses that define the Malaysian Chess Festival.
My Sony A5100 carried those memories faithfully, round after round, tournament after tournament. But it's given its last shot. The camera that helped tell your stories can no longer do so.
Now I'm asking the community I've served to help me continue serving it.
Help me get back behind the lens. Every ringgit raised goes directly toward a replacement camera so I can keep documenting the moments that matter — for players, families, and everyone who loves Malaysian chess.
I set myself this challenge. To raise enough money to get a camera. Failing to do so I will not be at the festival.
