It's the Pekan Chess tournament and it's first place is a whopping RM 2000. Will be going to a Pahang town for the first time in my life. No I am not taking part but giving that event some blog coverage which sadly seems to be a rare thing nowadays.

Waze tells me it's a 3 hour drive which isn't so bad especially considering the air index value will move from over 100 to something healthier once I reach there.
