Two of the most hectic event is over - the Astro Merdeka Rapid and the Swensen's Age Group.

That doesn't mean that the other event, the Open, Challengers and Seniors event is any less important.

One disappointment is the missing Chinese players who are not here but the good news is the Open event is the biggest one held ever in the 10 year history of the Malaysian Open with around 153 participants! Still there may be absentees tomorrow so we will have to see.

It is also said the Challengers is also a record 120 entrees.
