Today my maternal grandmother passed away. It's indeed a sad day for me amidst the Merdeka celebration. I'll be going back to attend the funeral tomorrow. My grandmother on my father's side also passed away in April this year. Understandably I will not cover the Merdeka Chess Festival as I will be back in my hometown in Teluk Intan.
