A total of 18 players took part in the KL Closed 2016 organised by Kuala Lumpur Chess Association (KLCA). Dr Zaidan Zulkipli won the event with a score of 5.5/6. The purpose of KL Closed 2016 is to pick players to represent the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur in selected competitions.
