My website is back on Google first page!! We were "dropped" from the list when we migrated from our old website at http://chess.sf.net to the new one at http://www.gilachess.com. We transferred all our content from the old website to the new one. Alas, Google has a new rule in the search engine that penalises the new website because both have the save content. We were "banished" from Google pages using the term Chess Malaysia. That was in January 2005. I tried hard. Even had the Malaysian Chess Federation website link to GilaChess. Alas, to no avail. After almost 6 months we are back!!! Click here to see the page. Here is the screenshot showing GilaChess ranked no. 8 using the search term: Chess Malaysia This is very timely as International Chess Events such the Malaysian Open and Zonal Championship is 2 months away! PS: Oops made a mistake. The screenshot above is Google Indonesia (http://www.google.co.id). It's not the "global" Google. :(
