Happy New Year !!!
We celebrate 2019 with a happy 3 way clash of events. Happy because they cannot be further separated geographically (unless we have another in Sabah!).

Distance would mean each event will not affect the other allowing chess enthusiast nearby to not have to travel so far to get their weekly chess fix.

As been mentioned before, Malaysia Chess may be mediocre but it's a land full of mini chess events and weekly clashes like this will happen throughout all of 2019!!

The three events on the first week of 2019 (5th Jan 2019) are:

• Kejohanan Catur Sabtu Pertama PCNK Propel 2019 Siri 1
• Pertandingan Catur Terbuka UTM 2019
