Just managed to look at the chess-results list for the Open section.

GM Koneru Humpy who is currently ranked 11th among India's top chess players is seeded no. 1 in the 14th Malaysian Open. She will be one of the 7 GMs taking part. But this is the initial list as in the past a few of the top seed didn't turn up so we'll have to wait till tomorrow for confirmation. Also besides the 7 GMs, there are 14 IMs, 14 FMs, one WGM, and 2 WFMs taking part.

Traditionally it seems strange India's top man and woman player, Anand and Koneru respectively does not take part in the Olympiads the past few years. Still, the Olympiad loss is our gain :)
