Chessify better than Chessbase?

Chessify subscription plan:

Chessify is certainly a very good alternative if you want access to a comprehensive Chess Database (9 million++ games). But for someone who hates any subscription plan I'd rather pay one time for
.

(8,999 Indian Rupee is about RM 518.21) and it's yours forever, no monthly fees!

One negative is that you cannot do last minute prep, say after looking at the pairing list and no time to run back to hotel room to open up your computer, then the mobile app version is better.

But still I won't sign up with Chessify DB - I'd go for Chessbase Online for Android. Again it's worth

fee of RM 37.99 to buy the app. So that gets you covered for on the go access and also in the comfort of your hotel room or at home with the desktop version. One thing to note is Megadatabase 2024 is also a subscription service with updates weely for the whole of 2024 only. There is a fee charged (69 Euro) to renew and get updates for 2025. But personally, I'll skip that and work with the 2024 as base and use the android version if I want to get the latest games (there is no subscription model for the Android based Chessbase Online).
