This is the 2nd chess event I've seen in my hometown Teluk Intan. I found out only because I was working on the #CaturEvents website (https://catur.org/events) and was surprised when I saw this flyer.
Anyway, pretty good turnout for a 15min+0 tourney with 48 players - mostly juniors. I am surprised by the number as it shows a healty "gilachess" community here even though Teluk Intan is a relatively small town in Malaysia. Did not stay to chat with the organiser "Coach Danish" as he looked very busy.
6 rounds. 15+0 time control. RM 30 entry.
Of course less than ideal environment as the tourney was held in a foodcourt in Lotuss supermarket. But for a casual fast time control event with kids, it can't be more ideal :)
