Anyway, that increases my chances of winning under 1500 category prizes if there are any
Here is an appeal from SingaporeChessNews.com editors as they are sourcing out Singapore related chess materials:-
Appeal
Spore Chess News is interested to purchase (or collect via donations or other forms) old issues of Singapore chess magazines, brochures, tournament reports, game collections, etc. We are particularly interested in material covering the 1950s through the 1990s.
It appears that the Singapore Chess Bulletin was published by the Singapore Chess Federation between 1961(?) and 1977(?). It was edited by Dr. Lim Kok Ann. Similarly, the Singapore Chess Digest appears to have started in 1978, edited by Ignatius Leong and published by the National Chess Enterprises. The date of its last number remains unclear to us.
Interested readers with access to complete (or incomplete) runs of such publications as well as those owning old photographs and other archival material on Singapore chess are encouraged to contact us.

That’s the travel time by car from KL to Kuala Kangsar according to TravelTimeTo.com.
That’s may be of interest to some as tomorrow is the 3rd Perak GP first leg at SMK Clifford K.Kangsar. Who in KL will be travelling there? More likely I think some might already be there a day early so as to stay fresh for the game. Others may just take the effort to drive their kids there to play on the day itself.
It’s a common one day tournament by KL standards but it is definitely not common in Perak where chess tournaments are very rare. Hopefully the exposure will be a good thing for Perakians. Gilocatur has indicated that he and his family will be playing IF they are not playing in the PERCAWI age group in Cochrane, KL.
Good luck to all taking part in either tournaments tomorrow. Those who are making the long journey, drive safely!!
